Dan Diven ★★★★★ Moved from the city Fort Wayne to rural 30 acres in the middle of nowhere in Columbia City, all we had available was century link internet at 10MB download and rarely saw higher than 5MB! had the fixed wireless receiver installed last week and I’m consistently getting 210-220 MB download speeds and 75-90 ping based on OOKLA speed tests, I’m getting around 185 MB download and 60 ping using the Mercury Speedtest that come included with your subscription, I have the top tier package at $99 month, unlimited data, I can have 4-5 TVs streaming Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Amazon you name it all at once while have tablets, cell phones and gaming systems running at the same time, the ping can get a little high while online gaming like sports games NHL 24 pings at around 85-140 at peak, same with FC 24 and Madden 24, so every ounce in awhile you see a lag, games like Fortnite have no lag at all running two or 3 systems at a time and a gaming PC! The tech who set it up took about an hour and half brought a little receiver check the best location and lets you know what speeds your getting before you even decide to buy the service, he did say location matters, so distance to a tower matters, if you have buildings or trees blocking the path of the tower matters, I got lucky because I have all open fields, overall quick easy process and if you live in the country going from 10MB to over 200MB is a game changer, my brother also a gamer is probably calling this week to get switched over we were both paying $60-80 a month for almost non existent internet so an extra $20 a month for internet you can actually use!Response from the ownerThank you for taking the time to write a review about our service. When I called in yesterday to voice my concerns and to see how long before they had the service back up, my call was forwarded to Dariel and I explained what my experience had been like. She was quick to take command of the problem and did some research and talked with her TAC team. Together they made some changes that helped get me service, and then she said she would monitor my issue to make sure it was performing as it should be. She said she would call me today to get my opinion. AND, she called! I have had excellent connection and speeds I have not had prior to today, ALL DAY. I hope Mercury can stay on this level of service. Dariel was very helpful and I truly appreciate her help.Updated 4-13-2024.The service promised didn’t last long.
